I think it's just not a fit for me, and I wish to return my purchase. What are my options?
In keeping with our focus to CHANGE how you shop for furniture, we offer a 30 Day Return Policy. Simply put, if you are unhappy with your purchase at any time from the day you receive your item to 30 days later, call us.
You will be responsible for arranging returns and transportation fees.
The returned good(s) must be in the original packaging material or something equivalent and RMA# must be on the outside of the package.
Thrive Home Furnishings merchandise should be returned as prepaid freight through the appropriate carrier.
We regret that we cannot accept COD packaging.Within 72 hours of receiving and inspecting the returned item(s), we will process a credit to your credit card or PayPal account minus the stocking fee of 45% for Sofas, Chairs, Loveseats and Ottomans and/or 35% for Credenzas, Desks, Bookcases or Tables. Depending on your card issuer’s policies, it may take up to 5 business days after we issue your refund for the credit to appear on your account. Damaged or excessively used items will not be accepted for return. White Glove services are not refundable. No merchandise may be returned to Thrive Home Furnishings without prior written consent. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to the shipper via collect freight. Can we visit the factory?
Yes, all of our manufacturing is done here in the United States, Los Angeles to be exact, if you would like a quick tour, we can arrange this for you!
Is Thrive Furniture and Joy Bird Furniture the same company?
NO, Thrive is an original mid-century furniture manufacturing company, formally a 30 year old manufacturing company (KT Human Care) the Thrive brand was created from this company in 2010, then launched in 2012. (All records are public) JoyBird was and unauthorized use of Thrive’s branding and content, to create a online, retail furniture site. Thrive Retail LLC & Versa Products Inc. have no affiliation, with Stich industries; DBA JoyBird. Thrive LLC not liable for any of their actions or claims.
What if I read bad review online should I be concerned?
Yes and the Thrive team will be even more concerned! Keeping all customers happy is a tall order, for any business, and we are no different. We hold ourselves to high standards and keep trying everyday, to improve, the customers buying experience. We made we welcome all your comments and feed back so we can learn from it and improve our company.
Why do you not offer the 365 day return policy anymore?
The 365 Return policy, was a marketing campaign, introduced to us, in 2012, it created big buzz and many people asked lots of questions, like how it worked? or if we really honored it? and yes we did honor it!
We decided to discontinue the program during our 2014 restructuring of management, and product quality, We felt, it would be better to increase the quality of our fabrics, foams and related materials, in each product, instead of paying the money to support that type of program. Since we are sending out great quality products, in 365 days you wont even be thinking of sending back such a comfortable sofa!
Why don’t you have FREE shipping on sofas?
Thrive has offered free shipping in the past on its sofas. It is a popular business model around, the web, for low cost, low quality furniture resellers. During our 2014 restructuring of management, and product quality, We decided, it would be better, to increase the quality of our fabrics, foams and related materials, in each product, instead of absorbing the freight charges for customers. We are producing great products today you will be please with the increased quality!!
I am no longer interested in my purchase and would like to cancel my order. What do I do?
Uh-oh...bought too soon? Second-guessing your decision? Don’t worry. Give us a call (424) 244-2134. We will cancel your order (and will not try to sell you on something else). Please note cancellation fees may apply if your order has been produced. Please see our return policy for more information.
My furniture arrived damaged. What do I do?
We do everything we can to ensure that your order arrives to you damage free, but sometimes accidents happen along the way. If you receive your order and you see damage, do not fear - we've got you covered. Here's what you can do to help us help you:
- If you observe damage to the box or product at the time of delivery, make a quick note on the delivery ticket and contact us right away at (424) 244-2134. The note can be as simple as "Product Damaged"
- Hold on to the box (even if it looks really bad)
- Send a photo or two or three to firstname.lastname@example.org
- Hang tight. We will respond to your phone call or email asap and will work with you to determine a solution that best meets your needs
How do I know my furniture has been shipped?
Once it is on the truck and headed your way, you will receive an email from us with the name of the shipping company, their phone number and the order tracking number.
Will they bring my furniture into my home?
Your order will be delivered during the scheduled time and you are responsible for moving it to the appropriate space in your home or business. Redelivery or storage fees may apply if a customer is unable to recieve their products during a scheduled delivery. Should you decide you want delivery up stairs or an elevator and placed inside your home, you need to specify that you want Inside Delivery for your order. Please note inside delivery can increase shipping times. Some restrictions apply.
After my order has shipped, how long will it take to arrive?
14 business days in transit.
Can I schedule a time for delivery, or will I need to make myself available the whole day?
The shipping company will call you about 48 hours in advance to schedule a 2-4 hour window for delivery.
I ordered multiple pieces; will they ship all together?
It will all ship together if it is in the same order. If you place multiple orders, you would need to request it to be shipped together. Otherwise, it will be shipped separately based on our production schedule.

How do I clean my leather furniture?
All of our leathers have already been permanently preserved in the tanning process and need no maintenance other than the simple cleaning recommended.
Once a week:
Keep your furniture free of dust and dirt. Dust with a clean, dry, soft cloth, and occasionally vacuum with a soft brush vacuum attachment to prevent dirt and dust from being ground into the leather.
Wipe with a warm and damp clean cloth to remove body oils and dust that builds up in the crevices. Thoroughly dry with a towel.
Once or twice a year:
If required, apply leather food (cream), carefully following the manufacturer's instructions.
Spills and Stains:
Deal with spills and soiling as soon as possible. Permanent stains can result if food and liquid is not wiped away immediately. For soiling, use a mild solution of liquid Ivory soap and clear lukewarm water. Apply the soap to a clean, wet sponge and gently wash. Rinse well with clean water and towel dry. Do not force dry by using a hair dryer, etc. Always try the cleaning method in a hidden area first to convince yourself of the results.
Wipe excess butter, oil, or grease off the leather with a clean, dry cloth, then leave it alone. The spot should dissipate into the leather in a short period of time. Do not apply water to try to clean a butter, oil, or grease spot.
Do Not Use: Saddle soap, oils, furniture polish, abrasive cleaners, soaps, varnishes or ammonia based products. These products may contain solvents which will break down the protective coat on the leather.
How do I care for my leather?
Full grain leather is easy to care for and unlike many other fabrics, real leather has a natural resilience to wear, more or less taking care of itself. There are a few things you can do however, to ensure its long lasting pleasure:
Make sure that the leather doesn't dry out, as this will affect its suppleness and softness of touch.
Avoid exposing the leather to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time. The sunlight will bleach both the leather and the wood. Protect it where possible by drawing the blinds or curtains.
Watch out for sharp objects like toys, jewelry, buckles on shoes, and pet claws as these can score the leather.
Beware of placing the leather too near to direct, strong heat sources such as open fires, heat outlets, open windows, or sources of dampness.
Lighter colors will wear just as well as darker ones, but will need to be cleaned slightly more often.
Do not allow grit and dirt to build up to excessive levels as this could have an abrasive affect.
Over a period of time, all leather will be inclined to stretch. This may lead to the opening of the pleats. Do not worry -- it is not a fault. This is a common occurrence, especially in deep buttoned cushioned upholstery.
The cushions will also form creases. Again, this is a natural occurrence of the leather as it stretches slightly and in no way affects the quality of the furniture.
Your furniture is designed for ultimate sitting comfort, so use it properly for that purpose. Sitting on the edge of cushions or the arms and backs may cause premature wear and distortion of the padding and leather.

I changed my mind after placing my order; can I change the fabric or leather?
Yes, you have up to 2 days after you place your order to make changes on your fabric/leather. Contact us with order changes at (424) 244-2134.
Can I customize the frame on my piece?
You may not customize the frame.
Why does my bank statement say Versa Products?
All charges are processed through our parent company Versa Products, Inc.
What payment methods can I use?

How long will my refund take?
The refund process typically takes 5 business days.
What happens if I change my mind and decide to cancel my order?
No worries, you can cancel your order, if you request the Cancellation of an item prior to production we will refund 100% of the purchase price. If you request the Cancellation of a produced item prior to it shipping there is a 28% stocking fee.

I'm not sold on the fabric or leather choices, do you have others?
If you are unsure about any of our selections you may request free swatches to see them in person. If at that point you are not sold, tell us what color you do like and we can gather some other options.
I have kids or pets, what fabric is recommended to withstand the most damage?
Anything in our Klein family is recommended.
Where are your products manufactured?
We at Thrive Home Furnishings use American made raw materials and produce our finished product in our Los Angeles, California factory.
Do you use flame retardants in your foam?
We use all compliant foams with no PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ether) or chlor Tris.
How do I know you received my order?
Once your order has been submitted, you will receive an email from us with all kinds of information about what to expect before your furniture arrives.
Are your products Eco Friendly?
We have always had a strong belief in doing our part to protect the environment, despite the additional short term expenses of time, money, and manpower. We believe that the long-term protection of our planet's limited natural resources is more important than increasing our profit margins. Our corporate strategy has always been to produce quality American products at a fair price, while keeping our environmental impact to an absolute minimum. We focus our efforts on three primary categories for environmental conservation: paperless order processing, green manufacturing practices, and energy efficient facilities.
Do you offer a variety of wood finishes?
All of our finishes are hand rubbed to ensure all the grains are highlighted in the legs, bases, and chairs. The finishes we offer are the Blonde (which is a subtle brown, tan in nature) and Walnut (which is a deep rich mahogany color).
